This policy describes which personal data we process when you visit this website and use our forms, for what purpose this happens and which rights you have. This English text is a convenience translation; the German version is the authoritative one.

2. Your rights
You have the following rights in relation to us:
- Access (Art. 15 GDPR) to whether and which data we process about you.
- Rectification of inaccurate data (Art. 16 GDPR).
- Erasure (Art. 17 GDPR), unless a statutory retention obligation prevents it.
- Restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR).
- Data portability (Art. 20 GDPR) for data we process by automated means on the basis of consent or a contract.
- Withdrawal of consent (Art. 7 (3) GDPR), at any time and with effect for the future. Processing carried out up to the withdrawal remains lawful.
An informal message toinfo@marketinglama.de is enough. To withdraw your cookie consent, a click on „Cookie settings“ in the footer of any page is sufficient.
Right to object under Art. 21 GDPR
Where we process data on the basis of legitimate interests (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR), you have the right to object at any time to that processing on grounds relating to your particular situation. We will then no longer process your data unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds that override your interests, rights and freedoms, or the processing serves to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
Right to lodge a complaint
You can lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority at any time. The authority responsible for us is:

3. Visiting the website and hosting
This website is hosted by Webflow, Inc., 398 11th Street, 2nd Floor, San Francisco, CA 94103, USA. Webflow processes the data on our behalf; a data processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR is in place.
When a page is opened, data transmitted by your browser is automatically recorded in server log files:
- IP address of the requesting device
- date and time of the request
- page requested and volume of data transferred
- browser type and browser version
- operating system used
- referrer URL, meaning the page visited before
Purpose: delivery of the website, stability, security and defence against attacks.
Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in the technically faultless and secure operation of the website.
Retention: the log files are deleted automatically by our host after a short time. They are not combined with other data sources.
4. Consent to cookies and similar technologies
On your first visit to this website a notice appears in which you can choose between „Accept all“ and „Necessary only“. Both buttons are given equal visual weight.
Without your consent we load neither Google Analytics nor the Meta Pixel. No cookies from those services are set in that case.
We store your decision in your browser (local storage, keyml-consent), so that we do not have to ask you again on every visit. This storage is necessary to implement your choice.
Withdrawal: you can change your selection at any time via the „Cookie settings“ link in the footer of every page. You can additionally delete cookies already set in your browser settings.
Legal basis: § 25 (1) TDDDG in conjunction with Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR for the services requiring consent; § 25 (2) no. 2 TDDDG for storing your selection itself.
5. Google Analytics 4
Only with your consent. We use Google Analytics 4, a web analytics service of Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. The controller for users in the European Economic Area is Google Ireland Limited; a transfer to Google LLC in the USA takes place.
Purpose: we want to understand how our website is used — which pages are opened, through which source visitors reach us and whether a form was submitted. We use that to improve our content.
Data processed: truncated IP address, page views and time on page, approximate location at country and city level, device type, browser and operating system, source of the visit and events triggered. When our forms are submitted we additionally transmit the eventgenerate_lead together with which form it was. Form contents themselves are not transmitted to Google.
Cookies: Google Analytics sets the cookies_ga and_ga_35S2F9LDZV each with a lifetime of two years.
Retention at Google: event data are deleted after two months, user-related data after fourteen months.
Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR and § 25 (1) TDDDG. A data processing agreement with Google is in place.

6. Meta Pixel
Only with your consent. We use the Meta Pixel of Meta Platforms Ireland Limited, Merrion Road, Dublin 4, Ireland.
Purpose: measuring the performance of our adverts on Facebook and Instagram and showing adverts to suitable audiences. The page view and the submission of our forms are recorded; for job applications we additionally transmit which area you applied for.
Data processed: IP address, browser and device data, pages visited and an identifier assigned by Meta. If you are logged in to Facebook or Instagram, Meta can attribute the visit to your account there.
Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR and § 25 (1) TDDDG. For part of the processing we are joint controllers with Meta within the meaning of Art. 26 GDPR; the details are governed by Meta'sController Addendum. Further processing by Meta takes place under its sole responsibility.

7. Fonts
The „Inter Tight“ typeface is not loaded from an external font service. It sits on the same web space as this website and is delivered from there. There is no connection to Google Fonts or a comparable provider, and no data are transmitted to third parties in the process.
The same information therefore applies to the delivery of the font files as under point 3, visiting the website and hosting.
8. Contact form and contact by email
Through the form on ourcontact page we collect your name, your phone number and your message. Submissions are stored at our website provider Webflow and retrieved by us by email.
Purpose: handling your enquiry and any follow-up communication.
Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR where your enquiry serves the initiation or performance of a contract; otherwise Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR on the basis of our legitimate interest in answering enquiries.
Retention: until your enquiry has been dealt with conclusively and no further communication is to be expected. Statutory retention obligations, in particular commercial and tax law periods, remain unaffected.
If you write to us directly by email, we process your details for the same purposes and on the same bases. We operate our email mailbox with Google Workspace of Google Ireland Limited.
9. Job applications
Through ourjobs page you can apply to us. In doing so we collect your name, your phone number, your preferred contact route, the role, your possible start date, the desired basis, your answer on working on site, and optionally links and a message. We additionally store which advert or referral brought you to the form.
Purpose: conducting the application process and contacting you.
Legal basis: § 26 (1) BDSG and Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR for the decision on establishing an employment relationship.
Recipients: the submission is stored at Webflow. For internal notification we additionally transmit your details to our collaboration tool Lark of Lark Technologies Pte. Ltd., 1 Raffles Quay, Singapore, and to our email mailbox. Access is restricted to the people involved in the selection process.
Retention: if no employment results, we delete your data at the latest six months after the process ends. If employment results, we transfer the data into the personnel file.
10. Onboarding forms for clients
On the pagesLiveselling Onboarding andAuktion Onboarding we receive details we need for the collaboration — in particular brand and product information, contacts with names and email addresses, dates and uploaded files.
Purpose: preparing and carrying out the agreed engagement.
Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR.
Retention: for the duration of the collaboration and beyond that within statutory retention periods.
11. Appointment booking
To arrange calls we link to the Calendly service of Calendly LLC, 271 17th St NW, Atlanta, GA 30363, USA. As long as you do not click the link, no data are transmitted to Calendly. Only when you open the booking page and arrange an appointment there does Calendly process your details — as a rule name, email address and the chosen slot.
Purpose: arranging and managing appointments.
Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR for contract-related appointments, otherwise Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR on the basis of our legitimate interest in simple scheduling.
12. Recipients and transfers to third countries
We pass on personal data only where that is necessary for the purposes named above. Recipients are:
- Webflow, Inc., USA — hosting the website and storing form submissions
- Google Ireland Limited, Ireland, and Google LLC, USA — analytics, fonts, email
- Meta Platforms Ireland Limited, Ireland — reach measurement for adverts
- Lark Technologies Pte. Ltd., Singapore — internal notification about job applications
- Calendly LLC, USA — appointment booking, if you open the service
Some of these providers process data outside the European Union. For those transfers we rely on an adequacy decision of the European Commission where the provider is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, and otherwise on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses under Art. 46 (2) (c) GDPR. We point out that a level of data protection comparable to that of the European Union cannot be guaranteed in third countries, and that access by authorities there cannot be ruled out in every case.
13. No automated decision-making
Automated decision-making, including profiling within the meaning of Art. 22 GDPR, does not take place.
14. Security
This website is delivered exclusively in encrypted form over HTTPS. You can recognise this by the padlock symbol in your browser's address bar. We also take technical and organisational measures to protect your data against loss, alteration and unauthorised access.
15. Changes to this privacy policy
We adapt this policy when the legal situation or the services used on this website change. The version published here applies in each case. The date is given above.
